CURRENT OPENINGS
7-12 Physical Education Teacher, 1.0 FTE
Red Rock Central Schools, located in Lamberton, Minnesota, is seeking a dynamic and student-centered 7–12 Physical Education Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2025–2026 school year. The successful candidate will promote lifelong fitness and wellness through engaging, standards-based instruction and will play an active role in our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards
-Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
-Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student learning and development
-Engage in ongoing professional development and school initiatives

-Provide physical education instruction to students in grades 7–12
Qualifications:
-Valid Minnesota teaching license in Physical Education (Grades 5–12 or K–12 PE)
-Strong classroom management and communication skills

-Passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellness
Preferred Qualifications:
-Additional licensure in Health Education
-Coaching experience or interest in coaching positions

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER, 1.0 FTE
Red Rock Central is looking for a full-time, energetic, and passionate Special Education Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for creating a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with unique needs, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Special education case management includes the preparation of IEPs, reports, assessments, and leading IEP team meetings. Professionalism, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are essential when working with students receiving special education services to ensure their safety and growth and to help them understand and exhibit appropriate behaviors at school and in the community.
LICENSURE: Special Education Licensure through MDE is required. Any special education licensure is encouraged to apply.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION DIRECTOR
Red Rock Central is committed to providing enriching educational opportunities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Education Director to lead our community education programs and services.
The Community Education Director will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of community education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive community education plan that aligns with the needs and interests of the community.
- Oversee the design and delivery of a variety of educational programs, including adult education, youth programs, enrichment classes, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and community members to identify educational needs and opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback, surveys, and other assessment tools.
- Promote community education programs through marketing and outreach efforts, including social media, newsletters, and community events.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Pay is at a rate of $155/day for days 1-10, and $200/day for day 11+. Retired teachers will earn $5 extra on those rates. Those with a teaching license can apply, as well as many others who can qualify for a short-call sub license.
PARAPROFESSIONAL SUBSTITUTES

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM ASSISTANTS
We are looking for AIM CAMP assistants for the 2024-25 school year – individuals interested in working with kids K-6th grade from 3-6 pm Mon – Fri and additional hours on early outs following the RRC student calendar. Students who are juniors/seniors are preferred, scheduling can be flexible. Adults are also welcome to apply! Red Rock Central is seeking bus drivers for substitute routes, activities, etc. We will train and reimburse for the medical card.
