Welcome to Red Rock Central Jr. / Sr. High School!

On behalf of the Red Rock Central Jr. / Sr. High School staff, I am pleased to welcome you to our school. I am very excited to be joining such an excellent team. Red Rock Central High School has consistently proven to have high academic success. Two ways RRC has been recognized are, as one of America’s Best Schools by the US News and World Report for 13 years in a row, and in 2018, receiving the prestigious NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON AWARD from the National Department of Education as an Exemplary High Performing school! Although these are good reasons to be proud, I am looking forward to being a part of the RRC team because of the fact that throughout the recent radically challenging times, Red Rock Central staff and students have focused not only on continuing this commitment to excellence in academic achievement, but they have also worked very hard to maintain and support positive social and emotional relationships with each other.

The philosophy of Red Rock Central Senior High School is centered around a concern for the individual student and their growth, both academically and socially. The staff truly believes in this philosophy and goes above and beyond to help ensure each child is successful at our school.

We know that high school is a time for personal assessment; a time to consider one’s true abilities and planning for the future. Since Red Rock Central High School is committed to developing the potential of all students, we are proud to offer a well-rounded curriculum that allows for both vocational and college-preparatory courses. RRC is concerned not only with the academic achievement, but also with personal and social development. The current school program affords many opportunities for individual growth, by encouraging students to examine their value systems and increasing their awareness of and involvement in the social responsibilities of our society.

We believe that the most effective learning environment is derived from positive involvement by students, parents and faculty. We want parents to be our partners in their children’s education.
